Extend the life of your weapon by installing a Sprinco Recoil Management Guide Rod System. A secondary, or sub-spring assembly is incorporated onto a full length, heat treated, stainless steel guide rod to cushion the slide to frame impact!

Sprinco USA Recoil Reducers make a significant difference by the management of peak recoil forces within the handgun, which can exceed 1500 ft lbs. at impact! By decelerating the rearward slide velocity with the secondary spring just prior to impact, the Sprinco System reduces these forces by 500 - 750 ft lbs. The graduated sub-spring is engineered and critically positioned in each model to ensure normal cycling and reliability. This is an effective no frills, no gimmick approach to recoil management.

The COR-BON model utilizes a stronger subspring in order to compensate for hot, +P and +P+ loads. A shooter should only use a COR-BON recoil reducer if he/she intends to exclusively shoot +P or +P+ ammo. The .40 Super, .45 Super, .400 COR-BON, and full house 10mm loads would also fit into this category. While the standard model Recoil Reducer will function flawlessly using hot ammo, this does not reciprocate. Tame factory loads will not always cycle the COR-BON model Recoil Reducer, and you may have function problems. Keep in mind that the standard system will noticeably reduce recoil and muzzle flip when using hot ammo, but not as effectively as the COR-BON model would. In summary, if you are going to be shooting a wide range of power factor loads, order the standard system. If you are shooting hand cannon loads EXCLUSIVELY, go with the COR-BON system.
